You Can Help Keep San Diego Green and put more “Green” into your Kiwanis Club!

Kiwanians when you recycle your unwanted cell phones and used computer ink cartridges the Club’s Environmental Committee earns money to help fund its projects!  Just drop phones and cartridges off when you at any Tuesday meeting! 

 

Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Downtown San Diego! 
We meet at the Bristol Hotel at 1055 1st Avenue every Tuesday at 12 noon for lunch and good times with friends.   We would be pleased to have you join us if you would like to learn more about the service we offer the community.   On the pages that follow you can see what we do and how we do it.

 

What is Kiwanis?

Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization for individuals desiring personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of their communities.  As a group they can achieve what individuals cannot do alone.  These individuals belong to Kiwanis clubs located throughout the world, attend regular meetings for fellowship and inspiration and perform voluntary community service through committees within each club.  Specifically, Kiwanis is a service organization.  It does not prescribe a way of life for others.  It does, however, occasionally act as a forum for diverse ideas.
