It’s Judy Leitner’s birthday this week and John Kizer was  back in town so we merrily sang to them! As for guests, we had Richard Yamaguchi and John Kizer brought his guest Gene Auerbach.

It was Suzie Zlaket’s last day to be crazy and she looked like a bundle of Christmas spirit!! Then there was a tiny bit of a bidding war, which almost seemed rigged, but Karina Sousa was the winner of the Fine Free Badge for January! Apparently she HAS to wear her pajamas to a meeting… stay posted!Happy/Sad Bucks

Also visited an orphanage in Mexico and had the most amazing experience! Definitely want to do a Kiwanis trip down there in 2012!

We also decided at this party that our Mardi Gras 2012 will be held at.. Monica Ball’s Mansion in Point Loma! Mark your calendars for March 3, 2012!

We had lots to raffle off and lots of bidding wars. The first was for 2 Holiday Bowl Parking Passes and VIP Tailgate Passes and Jay Jeffcoat outbid all! He also told us that thousands of kids will be touched by the check!

Tom Bauer came to the podium to introduce our law enforcement recognition program. Special Agent Christian Hoffman with Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and now Explosives. Media relations has been very challenging.

Agent Cody receiving an award for 2011 for Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF). Agenty Cody received the award with emotion and was very grateful!  What they do? They are in prevention of unlawful use of firearms, explosives, ammunitions, acts of arson & bombings and illegal trafficking of tobacco and alcohol products. For more info, check out their website - http://www.atf.gov/
