Join us for a special luncheon with Chief Robert Logan, Fire-Rescue Chief for the City of San Diego. Chief Logan will share his vision for the department, discuss public safety priorities, and highlight innovations shaping the future of fire and emergency services in our city.
About Chief Robert Logan A native San Diegan, Chief Logan grew up near Fire Station 12 in Lincoln Park, where his early admiration for first responders inspired a lifelong commitment to service. He began his career as an EMT in 1999 and joined San Diego Fire-Rescue the following year, serving in nearly every rank—including firefighter, captain, and deputy chief—before being appointed the city’s 19th Fire Chief. He holds degrees from Southern New Hampshire University and Columbia Southern University, along with Executive Chief Fire Officer certification. As only the third African American to hold this position in the department’s history, Chief Logan is dedicated to strengthening transparency, equity, and community collaboration across San Diego.
