Volunteer Opportunity Serve with Salvation Army at Monarch School
Friday, July 31
Join us as we serve a special lunch to approximately 250 students and staff at Monarch School during their lunch break. We’ll be grilling burgers and hot dogs, serving chips and watermelon, and bringing the fun with music and a live DJ (our very own member, Jeremy Alexander)!
Volunteers should meet at Monarch School at 10:00 a.m. to assist with setup, food preparation, serving, and cleanup.
Location: Monarch School, 1625 Newton Ave., San Diego, CA 92113
Volunteer Arrival: 10:00 a.m. Serving Time: 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Volunteers Needed: 5–7 Kiwanis members
Parking: Street parking is available around the school. Please allow extra time to park and check in at the main entrance on Newton Avenue.
