Mentor at Lamp of Learning's Fall IGNITE

IGNITE is our free college-readiness event for first-generation San Diego high school juniors and seniors. Mentors stay with a small group of students through breakfast, hands-on learning stations, and a closing discussion, sharing their own college and professional journey and offering encouragement along the way. We're especially looking for mentors from a variety of fields (pre-law, STEM, finance, bioscience, engineering, and more), and all you need is a willingness to share your path.

Event logistics:

• Arrival: 9:00 a.m. for a quick mentor briefing | Students arrive at 9:30 a.m. | Program wraps at 1:30 p.m.
• Meals: Breakfast and lunch with the students are included
• Parking and building access: I'll send details to everyone who signs up
